Since the conflict reignited in early 2025, sexual violence has skyrocketed. Even girls are not spared. And unfortunately, with all the consequences that entails.

Joseanne is 13 years old. She was raped and became pregnant. She didn't know where to go. She realised she was pregnant far too late. Fortunately, we tracked her down just in time through our local reception centre. Thanks to Mamas for Africa, she was able to go to hospital. Without medical help, she could have been in serious trouble. So young, and already pregnant.

Without help, this could have ended tragically. That is why you support us. So that war babies and their mothers also have the right to care, protection and a future.
