Elise, from the village of Sange, is a survivor of violence in eastern Congo. She is just one of thousands of girls and women who were helped thanks to the work of Mamas for Africa and its numerous donors.

After my rape, I did not want to live

Then I was a victim.
But today I am a survivor. I live, I love, I work, I have fun.
I am so happy and grateful.
Grateful for people like you who make the lives of people like me possible.
